2000 Shafer Relentless Syrah
This is a blend of 81% Syrah, 19% Petite Syrah, and a powerhouse. As
you´d expect from Shafer. There´s not a lot of this around, and
it´s $60.00. This one was suggested by a club member; we´re glad to
accommodate! It´s a truly great California wine from a top Napa producer.
Enjoy it somewhere in the next ten years - preferably a few years down the
road!
2001 Vin.ca Vermentino di Toscana
This gem comes from our friends at Small Vineyards Imports, a West Seattle-based
importer of Italian wines. They love to bring in wines made in frustratingly
small amounts, and this one is no exception. We´ll have small amounts of
it for a while at $18.00 - not bad for a wine of this quality!
