1998 Henri Rebourseau Chambertin Grand Cru
Please don´t drink this for a while - like at least ten years.
It´ll take that long for this to come around, but when it does, it´ll be
spectacular. Only one case of this came to Seattle, and we got it.
It´s $72.00 (cheap for a Grand Cru Burgundy), and gone. Importer Peter
Weygandt really likes this wine; so did I when I tried it - at least, several hours
after decanting it.
2002 Buty Chardonnay Roza Berge Vineyard
Winemaker Caleb Foster keeps going from strength to strength. He feels that
this is his finest Chardonnay yet, and I´d add that it is one of the best
Washington´s produced. It´s ready to drink, and will hold for a
while in your cellar. It´s the same price as last year, $23.50, and
there´s a reasonable supply. Enjoy!
