2000 Mark Ryan Winery Long Haul
It´s a monster.  Flat and simple.  This is a BIG wine, made by a big guy - Mark McNeely, a well-known local character.  This is the last of the 2000; there´ll be a new release soon, and from all I´ve heard, it´ll be every bit as good.  This is ready to drink.  It´s $30.00.

2001 Stevens Winery Cabernet Franc
We´ve spent so much time concentrating on the Walla Walla Valley that I sometimes forget about Woodinville, which is absolutely silly.  This wine (and the Mark Ryan wine above) show why.  As most of the sales reps in the wine biz can tell you, I´m not exactly a huge Cabernet Franc fan; it´s got to be exceptional for me to appreciate it.  I raved about this one.  It´s ready to drink, and it´s $24.00.

2003 Syncline Late Harvest Chenin Blanc
Yes, that´s right - Three wines this month!  I´d picked the other two late in April, and when James Mantone brought this one in late in May, I knew I had to find a way to squeeze it into the club.  In a blind tasting, I might mistake this for one of the great sweet wines of the Loire Valley, also made from Chenin Blanc.  It´s an absolute knockout - like you´d expect anything else from these folks!  It´s $19.75, and I´d recommend hurrying if you´d like to get more.
