September 2005 Washington Wine of the Month
2003 Lemelson Chestnut Hill Pinot Noir
Ok, it´s not Washington. I know that. But there´s very
little of this killer Pinot Noir available that I had to sneak it in here (anyways, the original
name of the club was the Northwest Wine Club, remember?) It´s $41.00 and I´d hang
on to it for a couple years before drinking. There´s a tiny bit left.
2003 Syncline McKinley Springs Vineyard Syrah
You know, I´d be tired of putting Syncline wines in this club if James
and Poppie weren´t so good at what they do! Their first vintage set the bar high, and
they´ve been topping it ever since. Nice work. It´s $29.75, and I´d
hold it a couple years before cracking it open and enjoying it.
